Définition

The "Droit individuel à la formation" (DIF) is a right that consists in automatically granting 20 hours of training every year to every full-time employee (stock limit: 120 hours). In case of part-time job, the corresponding fraction is credited accordingly. It was set up by the law of 4 May 2004.

Remarque

Set up by the act of 2014 on training, the "Compte personnel de formation" (CPF) replaced the "Droit individuel à la formation" (DIF).
