Définition

The part-time employment rate is the ratio of the number of people in part-time employment to the corresponding total population.

It can be calculated on the whole population, but is most often limited to the population aged 15-64 (conventionally referred to as "working age"), or to a sub-category (e.g. women aged 25-29).
