The business climate is improving
In May 2015, the business climate indicator is improving.
The indicator, compiled from the answers of business managers in the main sectors, has gained one point, after being stable in April. It still lies below (97) its long-term average (100). The business climate indicator has improved in every sector: by four points in wholesale trade, by two points in retail trade and services, and by one point in building construction and manufacturing.
The turning point indicator has returned into the favorable area
The global turning point indicator has improved and has returned into the favorable area. The turning point indicator stays in the uncertain area in the building construction sector; the remaining indicators are now in the favorable area.
