Cash flow from operations represents the gross resources remaining in the statistical unit (company or legal unit) at the end of the financial year.
It can choose either to distribute them or to reserve them for financing its investments. Unlike accounting net income, it does not take into account cash flows relating to capital appreciation or depreciation transactions.
