Ministerial statistical offices (SSM)

The National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies and the ministerial statistical services form the "public statistical service" (law n° 51-711 of 7 June 1951 on legal obligation, coordination and confidentiality in the field of statistics, article 1).

The ministerial statistical services are listed in annex of decree N°2009-250 of 3 March 2009 concerning the Public Statistics Authority. The decree has beeen updated by order of 25 January 2010 by the Minister for the Economy, Industry and Employment.
